Renovatio Institute Workshops

Renovatio Institute offers life enriching workshops that are intimate in nature and are focused on exploring, examining, and discerning major life issues. Each is offered periodically in our Chicago-land office which is fully handicap accessible. Workshops can also be held at your location. Renovatio Institute workshops, which are intentionally kept small in size to insure personal interaction, are ideal for small groups of 2 to 8 individuals. Workshops are offered periodically or can be scheduled as needed. Workshops can also be created around the special needs of a particular situation (church conflict, corporate negotiations, etc.). All workshops offer an integrated approach exploring major life issues from the lens of family systems theory, archetypal energy understandings, and individual spirituality, and theological beliefs.

Introductory lifeQUEST Workshop
(Small group workshops, offered in one 6 1/2 hour session (includes lunch and break time) or in three sessions on separate days, 4 1/2 hours total)
Designed for individuals, couples, or families to come together and begin working towards a clearer understanding of the personal life by using the lifeQUEST Labyrinth System. The system was designed by Ressl and Taylor and is based upon an updated version of the ancient spiritual tool of the labyrinth. This workshop is an introduction to using lifeQUEST and will provide you the opportunity to examine how the historical pre-elections of your life (your parents, your culture, your socio-economic status, your physicalness, etc.) inform the family of archetypal energies within your psyche that influence your everyday life and the relationships you exist within.

Intimate Pre-Marriage/Couples Workshop
(Limited to 1 couple per workshop, three sessions on separate days, 4 1/2 hours total)
Designed for couples (heterosexual or homosexual) entering or trying to better understand the relationship(s) they exist within. The couple works together with Bill Ressl and Penny Taylor to explore: the foundation of their relationship; how the relationship works; and, the how the goals of the individual and relational unity make up the "new" couple.

Sandwich Generation Workshop
(Small group workshops, offered in one 6 1/2 hour session (includes lunch and break time) or in three sessions on separate days, 4 1/2 hours total)
Designed for individuals and couples who are faced with the life issues of being the sandwich generation (raising children and being responsible for their older parents). This workshop provides an opportunity to: better understand the dynamics occurring in the various relationships; explore how the various relationships are working; and discern where the "me" is found within the sandwich generation unit. Case management options will also be explored.
